Outside Government House Saskatchewan decorated for Christmas

Step into a magical wonderland at Government House this holiday season! Starting the third week of November, our historic museum transforms into a dazzling Christmas spectacle filled with holiday cheer. Picture this: 13 magnificent trees twinkling with lights, over a hundred wreaths, and yards upon yards of lush garland adorning every corner – it’s a sight to behold!

Join us for our Old Fashioned Victorian Christmas family event, where nostalgia and excitement come together in true holiday spirit.  Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides,  hot cocoa and cookies, and don’t miss your chance to meet Santa as he walks around outside available to visit with your little ones and share what they would like for Christmas. 
 

Music, Memories, and Merriment

Embark on a fun-filled scavenger hunt around the museum to uncover hidden treasures and holiday secrets, then capture the moment with a family photo at the All In Event Services photo booth in the interpretive centre.

Can’t make it to the big event? No worries! Our beautiful holiday decorations stay up until the second week of January. Bring your family, friends, and visitors to experience the charm and glamour of  Christmas at Government House.
