Once Upon a Time Room

PLEASE NOTE:
The OUT room availability is limited until December 21st due to school tours. Visitors should call to confirm a time that’s available if they plan to be here between 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday due to school visits. (306-787-5773)

The Once Upon a Time Room (OUT Room) offers a special place for parents and educators to encourage children to interact, read, learn and play together.

The OUT room features a number of play areas that include a wide variety of hands-on activities, toys and play stations sized for ages 2 to 7. Please remember to be courteous to the next users and return all items to the shelves after use.A room set up for young children to play with a rocking chair, a toy house, books, puzzles, etc.

Please note that with the ending of health restrictions for Covid-19, there will be no additional cleaning in the space. All users are encouraged to use the hand sanitizer before and after use.

The OUT Room is available during regular hours and is often used by daycares and pre-schools so if you’d like to enjoy the OUT Room, please fill out the form below to reserve the space.

The information you have voluntarily given us will not be sold to anyone.  Government House may use your information to contact you regarding information about programs, tours, events, or services at Government House.
