A Powerful New Exhibit is Coming to Government House

Join us on Saturday, May 24 at 1:00 p.m. for the unveiling of this year’s feature exhibit, We Are Immigrants — a travelling exhibition featuring the moving and thought-provoking work of artist Raeann Kit-Yee Cheung. Through powerful imagery, this exhibit reveals the often-hidden hardships and lasting legacy of early Chinese Canadian immigrants — and celebrates their vital contributions to the building of our nation.

The launch event will feature an exciting cultural showcase, including:

• A Lion Dance by Kung Fu Regin
• Chinese folk dancing by the Regina Chinese Cultural Association
• A graceful Tai Chi demonstration by Chung Wah Tai Chi

After the program, enjoy the exhibit and join us for a warm and welcoming reception in the ballroom.
