Family Day

Join us for an “unplugged” event where entertainment is in-person and not online.

This family event is free and runs 10:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (Lunch Break for staff, volunteers and vendors from 12-1 p.m.)

Activities for the day will include the puppet show, The Three Bears by Wide Open Children's Theatre (with performances at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm), acting workshops by the Globe Theatre, board games, and access to our Once Upon Time playroom for children 6 years old and under.

Turn off the electronics and spend some family time with us. See you there!

Wide Open Children's Threatre returns to Government House with the fun of their wonderful puppets for the fifth year.

Enjoy the Three Bears and other stories as told in their own unique way that entertains not only the kids, but Moms and Dads as well!

A new feature this year is the Globe Theatre School at Government House!

"Our acting classes are great for all skill levels and are a perfect way to have a positive experience with art and theatre creation. Designed to be both a joyful and educational artistic outlet for all, GTS classes help students harness the powers of their own ideas and voices. These drama sessions will be filled with games and focused on fun. Come and create with us on Family Day!”
