Tricks and Treats Halloween Event at Government House

Create a new tradition with your family this Halloween with the "Tricks and Treats" event at Government House.

Families are invited to to dress up in costumes, travel the many rooms of Government House, receive a few treats from our hosts in each room, and learn about the ghosts that may still haunt the halls of this 133-year-old mansion.

Join the Government House Staff, Government House Historical Society Volunteers, and Jocko’s Club Volunteers as they hand out treats and share some spooky stories about Government House.

Join author Judith Silverthorne as she reads some stories from her book, Ghost Stories of Government House.

There will also be 20-minute performances of the Halloween Spooktacular Magic Show starring Danny Kazam at 1:20 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:40 p.m., and 3:20 p.m. No Scary Monsters, No Scary Clowns, Just A Whole Lot Of Spooktacular Fun!

Don't forget to stop at the photo-booth for a Halloween Family Photo before leaving!
